Penny Adams-Marchetti (she, her) is a law clerk in the Banking and Financial Services Group at Goodmans.
She specializes in complex debt transactional work and has extensive experience in assisting with all types of syndicated and non-syndicated domestic, cross border and international secured financing transactional work, acting for both lenders and borrowers. Her responsibilities include document organization and control from the due diligence phase of transactions to post-closing; preparing and reviewing security and corporate documentation; conducting and reviewing security searches across Canada and in the US; preparing and registering Personal Property Security Act registrations across Canada; preparing opinions and reports; and assisting in all aspects of debt and financing transactions.
Penny has more than 20 years of experience as a law clerk and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University, where she majored in Law and Philosophy. She received her law clerk diploma from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology in 2000.
Penny is an active member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario.
