Melanie Murphy is a junior securities law clerk in the Capital Markets Group at Goodmans.
She assists with securities-related transactions and other matters including public and private placement offerings, continuous disclosure obligations for reporting issuers, insider reporting and CDS filings including ISIN/CUSIP requests.
She also routinely prepares and files documents through the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval + (SEDAR+), the System for Electronic Disclosure by Insiders (SEDI) and the TMX LINX.
Melanie holds a Certificate of Honours in The Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario’s Fellowship Securities Law Course and a Diploma in Office Administration – Legal from Durham College. She joined Goodmans in 2013, and began working as a securities clerk in 2020.
