Eashan Karnik is an associate in a business law group at Goodmans.
His practice focuses on advising emerging companies in connection with venture financings, M&A and corporate and commercial law matters, with a main focus on technology companies.

Prior to joining Goodmans, Eashan was an associate at another Toronto law firm where he focused purely on high-growth startups and delivered tailored legal advice for managing growth and developing strategy.
Eashan received his law degree from the University of Ottawa and also has an Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and a certificate in Company Law from the University of Cambridge.
Prior to law school, Eashan served the public in both provincial and municipal policy roles. His contributions have led to his selection as a Canadian 30 Under 30 in 2019 and a Head Delegate for Canada at the World Trade Organization’s Public Forum. Due to his work for the community, he was also awarded the Civic Award of Recognition by Mayor Bonnie Crombie, elected into the Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts, and invited by Prime Minister Trudeau to speak on entrepreneurship at Parliament Hill.
