Trish Barrett is an associate in the Restructuring Group at Goodmans, which is widely recognized as Canada’s leading corporate restructuring practice.
Trish is developing her practice in the areas of corporate and commercial law, with an emphasis on corporate restructurings and related transactions.
Trish previously worked as a Disaster Risk Management and Urban Development Specialist at the World Bank Group in Latin America, the Eastern Caribbean and Haiti advising government ministries and agencies on disaster risk mitigation and management, urban development, housing and transportation policy, project development and project implementation. While at McGill, Trish served as co-director of Compass Startup & Legal Clinic.
Counsel to an ad hoc committee of noteholders in Calfrac’s CBCA and Chapter 15 proceedings and the successful recapitalization of US$900 million in debt obligations
