Ken Crofoot is General Counsel Emeritus to Goodmans LLP having retired from the full time role of firm General Counsel at the end of 2023. Ken actively practiced with the Firm for over 40 years as a commercial litigator with expertise in construction law and then ultimately assumed the position of General Counsel.
Ken is a Past President of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers and was recognized for many years as a leading construction lawyer by Best Lawyers in Canada, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and the Lexpert Special Edition: Infrastructure.
Ken is a
Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers (Past President). He has
written numerous articles and has spoken widely at continuing legal education
seminars on aspects of construction law and practice.
He is the
Chair of the Advisory Board of the Canadian Lawyers Liability Assurance Society.
