Heather Wilson is a law clerk in the Banking and Financial Services Group at Goodmans. She has extensive experience in lending transactions, acting for both lender and borrower, and in bankruptcy and insolvency transactions.
Heather is a frequent speaker and author. Her presentations over the years have included a workshop entitled “Managing the Large Transaction” with The Law Society of Ontario as part of its program, Buying and Selling a Business for Law Clerks, “PPSA and Other Lien Searches: A Practical Guide” as part of the Law Society's program, The Personal Property Security Act: Avoiding the Pitfalls through Best Practices, and “PPSA: Perfecting Your Perfection”, which was presented at the 2012 ILCO Conference. She also presents internally to lawyers and students at the firm.
Heather holds an Honours B.F.A. (1984) from York University, where she majored in Theatre Performance. She received her law clerk diploma from Seneca College of Applied Arts Technology, and was named valedictorian, in 1995. Heather joined Goodmans in 1997.
