Overview
Bradley has significant experience in Canadian and cross-border corporate restructurings, recapitalization transactions, acquisitions, financing transactions, and related corporate and insolvency law matters. He regularly acts for debtors, bondholders, ad hoc committees, court-appointed officers, plan sponsors and purchasers in complex restructuring transactions and the review of strategic alternatives.
Bradley has been recognized by IFLR1000 as a “Rising Star Partner”, by Best Lawyers "Ones to Watch" in Canada, and by The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory in the area of Financial Restructuring. He is also featured in the Lexpert Special Edition: Insolvency and Restructuring. In 2023, Bradley was honoured as one of Lexpert’s Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40.
Bradley was the bronze medalist in his graduating class at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. He previously worked as a senior associate at an international accounting firm, during which time he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and placed on the National Honour Roll of the Uniform Final Exam (UFE).

- Endo Pharmaceuticals – representing Endo and its Canadian affiliates in connection with the company’s cross-border restructuring proceedings to address its US$8.15 billion in debt obligations.
- Laurentian University – representing the Province of Ontario in the first CCAA restructuring of a publicly funded university in Canada.
- Pengrowth – representing Pengrowth in its review of strategic alternatives to address its $700 million in secured debt obligations and its ultimate acquisition by Cona Resources.
- Catalyst Paper – representing an ad hoc committee of term lenders and shareholders in Catalyst’s CBCA recapitalization, the Canadian Law Awards’ Restructuring Deal of the Year for 2019.
- Essar Steel Algoma – representing an ad hoc committee of noteholders in connection with the CCAA restructuring and credit bid acquisition of Essar Steel Algoma.
- Calfrac Well Services – representing an ad hoc committee of noteholders in Calfrac’s CBCA and Chapter 15 proceedings and the successful recapitalization of US$900 million in debt obligations.
- Toys “R” Us – representing Toys “R” Us Canada in its coordinated CCAA and Chapter 11 proceedings, including in connection with the going concern sale of Toys “R” Us Canada for US$300 million.
- Source Energy – representing Source Energy in its review of strategic alternatives and successful CBCA recapitalization transaction.
- Plasco Energy Group – representing Plasco in connection with its CCAA restructuring and the completion of the first reverse vesting transaction in Canada.
- Wayland Group – representing an ad hoc committee of debentureholders in connection with the first CCAA going concern restructuring of a cannabis company in Canada.
- Golf Town – representing Golf Town in CCAA and parallel Chapter 11 proceedings, including in connection with the successful going concern sale of its Canadian business.
- Co-op Atlantic – representing Co-op Atlantic in the sale of its core businesses in Atlantic Canada and the completion of its successful CCAA plan of arrangement.
- ILTA Grain – representing the court-appointed monitor in the CCAA proceedings of ILTA Grain and the first reverse vesting transaction in British Columbia.
