Walsh Construction Company Canada v. TTC et al.

Goodmans LLP is acting on behalf of Walsh Construction Company Canada, the general contractor, in claims against Toronto Transit Commission and others relating to the construction of the Steeles West Pioneer Village subway station which is part of the Toronto York Subway System Expansion, a multi-billion dollar expansion of the subway system. Claims involve issues surrounding breach of contract, negligent design and negligence. 

The trial of these matters began in February 2022, and is scheduled to run over several months The trial involves multiple parties including the general contractor, owner, design professionals and subcontractors.
