We have a wealth of experience seeking judicial review in the Ontario Divisional Court and Federal Court of Canada, and have litigated judicial review cases at all appellate levels, including the Supreme Court of Canada. We have acted for clients in numerous judicial proceedings spanning a variety of industries, and have developed a particular expertise seeking review of decisions taken by the Federal Minister of Health pursuant to the Food and Drugs Act Regulations, and the Ontario Minister of Health pursuant to the Drug Interchangeability and Dispensing Fee Act, having acted in a multitude of these cases. We also have extensive experience in the review of administrative and regulatory decisions in the municipal and energy sectors.
We are a strong presence on the judicial review landscape and have had solid working relationships with various government counsel for many years. We are known to them to be fierce advocates who always maintain the atmosphere of collegiality necessary to explore pragmatic compromise where warranted.
